Moraes authorizes sharing of evidence against Eduardo – 03/23/2026 – Brasília Hoje

The minister, of the (Supreme Federal Court), authorized the use of evidence produced in the investigation in which the former deputy is to intervene in the processes of the former president (PL) in an administrative process that investigates offenses by (-SP) against the corporation’s employees.

Moraes’ decision signed on Friday (20) responded to a request from the PF, which is investigating signs of administrative improbity on Eduardo’s part. According to the corporation, the former parliamentarian had made comments on July 20, 2025 to embarrass and threaten employees due to their actions in investigations at the Supreme Court.

On the occasion, Eduardo Bolsonaro, who now lives in the United States and is a licensed clerk for the Federal Police, held a live broadcast on his social networks in which he criticized PF agents, including the person responsible for investigating the 2022 coup plot case and Bolsonaro’s indictment.

“If I find out who you are, I’m going to move. Come on, little friend from the Federal Police. Little dog from the Federal Police who’s watching me. Don’t let me know, brother. If I find out who you are, I’m going to move here. If I find out who you are, I’m going to move,” he declared.

A Sheet contacted Eduardo by message around 3 pm to ask for a statement from the former deputy regarding Moraes’ decision. There was no response until the publication of this report, the space remains open.

The (Attorney General’s Office) spoke out in favor of sharing the evidence, claiming that the measure can help “the evidence achieve the expected results in combating crime”.

“Furthermore, sharing evidence presents itself as a relevant measure to save the public sector and administrative efficiency, avoiding the expenditure of financial and human resources on reiterating efforts to discover facts that are already known and documented,” he said.

In his decision, Moraes agreed with the Prosecutor’s Office and stated that sharing the material could be useful and is “reasonable, appropriate and pertinent”.

“Regarding the sharing of evidence, the Federal Supreme Court has already stated that there is no obstacle to the sharing of information collected in the context of a criminal investigation for the purpose of instructing another procedure against the person being investigated, observing the constitutional guarantee of contradictory proceedings and the impossibility of using the borrowed evidence as the only element of conviction for the judge.”

Eduardo and blogger Paulo Figueiredo were denounced by the PGR in September last year on charges of organizing actions with the aim of intervening in the former president’s (PL) processes.

According to the PGR, the complaint accuses the two of the crime of coercion, which “consists of using violence or serious threat, with the aim of favoring one’s own or another’s interest, against an authority, party, or any other person who works or is called upon to intervene in a judicial, police or administrative process, or in an arbitration court.”
