Hafjell – Mikaela Shiffrin didn’t show any nerves in Hafjell’s first slalom run. The US star leads the World Cup final by over a second and is facing a preliminary decision in the overall skiing World Cup. Shiffrin’s only remaining competitor, Emma Aicher from Germany, is in fourth place at halftime (+1.38 seconds) behind Shiffrin, Wendy Holdener (+1.10) and Paula Moltzan (+1.12). Best Austrian is Catherine Troupe seventh (+1.81).
