Service makes it possible to hire a person accompanied by a robot to clean houses and apartments
Last week, the Chinese company launched the first domestic cleaning service that has the support of robots. To achieve this, the company entered into a partnership with 58.com, a leading platform for domestic services. It is currently only available in the city of Shenzhen.
The robot equipped with AI (artificial intelligence) is capable of performing tasks such as organizing shoes, collecting toys scattered around the house, cleaning surfaces and changing trash. The robot is not alone in the house. You are accompanied by a professional who is responsible for carrying out the most extensive and detailed cleaning.

A smart cleaning session lasts 3 hours and costs 74 yuan (R$56). The demand in the first week of the offer was great and filled all the sessions for the month of March in a few days.
AX Square Robot already plans to increase its production of robots to meet demand, but also improve the capacity of tasks that can be performed. The idea is that in the future the robot will be able to perform all tasks alone.
“Initially, the robot serves as an assistant for simpler tasks; our ultimate goal is for robots to become intelligent and reliable new members of every home”informed the company.
AX Robot is not just focused on producing these cleaning models and plans to use this service to test its technology in various lifestyle scenarios.
The strategy is in line with Chinese government planning, which identifies these robots embedded with AI and capable of performing human tasks as a key industry for the future.
The company also wants to expand the service offering to other Chinese cities, but there is still no forecast for expanding the service.
