Bliss, a startup that developed an AI-based platform to help brokers sell health plans to SMEs, just closed a round of US$11 million (R$57 million). The investment was led by Kfund and Grupo Bradesco, with participation from Actyus and Clocktower Ventures.
The new investors join Canary, which led a pre-seed of R$10 million in 2022, and SpeedInvest, which raised a seed round of an undisclosed amount a year later.
As highlighted by Bliss in a note, the capital injection will mainly serve to expand the operation to other Brazilian capitals, in addition to São Paulo – such as Rio de Janeiro and Brasília – and strengthen the product and technology teams, to help customers simplify processes based on AI.
Despite not revealing revenue numbers or companies served, Bliss reveals that it reached breakeven at the end of 2025, reaching more than R$300 million in prizes. According to the insurtech, this represented three times growth compared to the previous year, driven by a growing adoption of AI in its internal processes.
This internal adoption of AI is reflected in the solution offered to clients, B2B brokers serving SMEs. The company uses AI – through an agent named Fátima – to automate operational tasks, which traditionally consume a large part of brokers’ time, and reduce sales fraud. Thus, the company increases brokers’ sales and increases operators’ efficiency.
“Today, dependence on manual processes is one of the biggest bottlenecks in the distribution of health insurance. Bliss is inevitable, due to the advancement of AI and the pressure on the sector’s costs. We remove repetitive operational tasks so that humans can focus on relationships, trust and building value with customers”, says Fernando Gonçalves, co-founder and CEO of Bliss, in a note.

According to the founder, who has already led product fronts at Nubank, the model allows brokers to increase their sales volume by 4 to 5 times in the second year of operation on the platform.
Speaking of insurance sales, in the view of Bliss’ CEO, the Brazilian market still holds great potential. The Brazilian health plan industry generates around R$300 billion per year, but only around 25% of the Brazilian population has coverage, which indicates significant potential for expansion in the coming years.
