Governor São Paulo, (Republicans), has already communicated to the president of the Liberal Party, which will keep the vice (PSD) in office to run for re-election in October. THE Poder360 that this was the governor’s wish.

Tarcísio met with the PL president last week to discuss the October elections. He classified the meeting as “very good”. The Liberal Party’s support for his re-election is taken for granted.

Search released on Monday (March 9, 2026) that the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, would win the election to the State government in any of the 5 stimulated 1st round scenarios presented, as well as in the 4 2nd round scenarios.
Among the scenarios tested, Tarcísio leads the dispute against the Minister of Finance (PT), or vice-president (PSB), the Minister of Planning (MDB), and the Minister of Entrepreneurship (PSB).
