Loulé City Hall is promoting, between March 27th and April 12th, another edition of the Gastronomic Fortnight “Comeres D’Aqui – Sabores da Easter 2026”, an initiative that values traditional gastronomy and local products.
During this period, several restaurants in the city joined the initiative, presenting special menus inspired by typical recipes from the region and made with regional products.
Restaurants highlight traditional flavors
The initiative invites residents and visitors to try authentic local dishes, reinforcing the gastronomic identity of the territory.
At the same time, it intends to encourage the restaurant sector, promoting the municipality’s traditional culinary offerings.
Activities complement the gastronomic experience
In addition to the gastronomic aspect, the program includes several parallel activities aimed at different audiences.
Among the proposals, outdoor initiatives stand out, such as egg hunts, walks with a shepherd and beekeeper, displays of local products and activities linked to the wool cycle of the Churra Algarvia sheep.
Confectionery workshops are also planned, organized by local partners.
Some of the activities are free to participate in, while others require prior registration and payment with the organizing entities.
The Gastronomic Fortnight asserts itself as a reference event in the municipality, contributing to boosting the local economy, valuing restaurants and promoting gastronomic heritage.
The Municipality of Loulé invites the public to consult the complete program and ensure timely registration for available activities.
