The President of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah – an ally of the Tehran regime – is “more alive than ever” and is “the pride of Islam”. The statement was given in a publication in X this Thursday (26). Without explicitly mentioning attacks, he warned of “a series of surprises on the way.”
“Stay tuned!” he warned. “Today, the lightning operations and continuous qualitative attacks that inflicted heavy losses on the equipment and forces of the Zionist enemy prove the veracity of the martyr’s promises,” he added.
The comments come at a time of uncertainty regarding dialogue between the US and Iran to possibly end hostilities in the Middle East.
