During the inauguration of the first state college in Acre, held this Thursday (26), Governor Gladson Camelí was surprised with a special tribute.
At the request of the Secretary of Education, Aberson Carvalho, the audience sang the famous song “Congratulations” in celebration of the governor’s birthday.
The celebration took place before Gladson’s speech.
“It’s an immense joy to be able to share my birthday with such a significant moment for education in Acre. I thank everyone for their affection”, said the governor after the surprise.
This Thursday (26), Governor Gladson Camelí signed the decree that formalizes the creation of (FEAC) and the inauguration of its first stage. The work is located in the Cidade do Povo neighborhood, in Rio Branco.
The delivery of the space is the result of a union between the State Department of Education (SEE), (IEPTEC) – which will manage the space – and the State Department of Public Works (Seop), responsible for construction.
The investments are R$ 30,000,000.00 (thirty million reais) for the implementation of the institution, covering infrastructure, human resources, technology and academic management, in addition to the acquisition of furniture and equipment.
FEAC is seen by the government as a historic milestone for public higher education, aimed at expanding free higher education. At least 240 places will be offered each semester in Public Management, Agribusiness Management and Foreign Trade courses.
