Registration is open for the ninth edition of the Abmes de Prize, which aims to encourage the production of reports on the superior in Brazil. Interested parties can apply until June 12th.
Works published between June 21, 2025 and June 12, 2026, in press vehicles or digital platforms, can compete. Each winner will receive R$16,000, as well as a trophy and certificate. In total, the prize will distribute R$64 thousand.
The award is an initiative of four categories for professional journalists: written (printed or online), video, audio and podcast. Each candidate can submit up to five contents.
In the University Journalism category, the winner will receive a state-of-the-art Kindle.
The announcement of the finalists is scheduled for June 25th, and the winners will be announced on July 10th. The awards ceremony will take place on August 4, in Brasília. All finalist authors will be invited to participate in the ceremony, with accommodation and travel costs paid, as long as they reside in Brazil.
