According to president, conflict is causing significant damage to logistics, production and supply chains
MOSCOW, March 26 (Reuters) â Russian President Vladimir Putin said đ˝this Thursday that it is difficult to predict the consequences of the đ˝conflict in the Middle East, but that some compared the potential impact to that of the â Covid pandemic.
The âconflict, according to Putin, â is causing significant damage to international logistics, production and supply chains, as well as exerting intense pressure on hydrocarbon, metals and fertilizer companies.
‘The consequences of the conflict in the Middle East are still difficult to predict âaccurately,’ Putin told business leaders in Moscow.
‘It seems to me that those who are involved in the conflict cannot predict anything, but for us it is even more difficult.’
‘However, there are already estimates that can be compared with the coronavirus epidemic,’ Putin said. “Let me remind you that it has drastically slowed down the development of every region and continent without exception.”
