The European Commission has accused pornographic portals Pornhub, stripchat, XNXX y XVideos of violating community laws by not protecting minors from exposure to its contents.
The investigation by the Community Executive has preliminarily concluded that the web pages have infringed the Digital Services Law (DSA) by not applying effective measures such as security systems age verification to prevent them from accessing porn videos.
The four portals indicate that their services are intended exclusively for adultsbut they still allow access with a simple click in which users confirm that they are 18 years or older.
