White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated that the timeline for war with Iran remains four to six weeks when asked whether the conflict will end before President Donald Trump’s planned trip to China in May.
“Again, as I said, we always estimate approximately four to six weeks. So you can do the math based on that,” Leavitt said during today’s White House press briefing.
Trump has suggested he wants to soon end the war, which is about to complete a month, but has not committed to a specific deadline.
Leavitt announced on Wednesday that Trump’s trip to China, which had been postponed after the outbreak of war, will now take place on May 14 and 15.
