Linz – Bad news from the steel city: The 20-year-old soccer player Alexandra Wimmer was fatally injured in a car accident in Linz on Thursday morning. The young hopeful from SPG Blau-Weiß Linz/Kleinmünchen recently played in the Women’s Future League at the Upper Austria Academy. She was last used in the 2-2 draw against the Vienna U20.
