Gerp: Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro have a technical tie in the 1st and 2nd round

O president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and the senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) appear technically tied in all scenarios first round of the presidential racein addition to also recording a technical draw in the second round, according to research released this Friday (27) by the Gerp institute.

No first scenario, Lula has 38% of voting intentions, against 36% for Flávio Bolsonaro. Then they appear Ciro Gomes (7%), Junior Mouse (4%), Romeu Zema (3%), Ronaldo Caiado (3%), Renan Santos (1%) e Aldo Rebelo (0%). None of them amount to 3%, and 6% did not know or did not respond.

In the second round, the survey indicates Flávio Bolsonaro with 48% of voting intentions, and Lula with 45%. Another 5% said they would vote for none of the candidates, and 3% did not know or did not respond.

Rejection

In the rejection section, the survey shows that Lula leads, with 51% of those interviewed saying they would not vote for the PT member. Then it appears Flavio Bolsonarowith 45% rejection.

Among the other names tested, Low registers 16%, tied with Eduardo Leite (16%). Junior Mouse appears with 15%, followed by Ronaldo Caiado (13%) e Ciro Gomes (12%). Renan Santos e Aldo Rebelo they have 11% each. Furthermore, 1% of respondents said they could vote for any of the candidates, while 1% said they would not vote for any of them. Another 2% did not know or did not respond.

Methodology

The survey interviewed 2,000 people. The data were weighted according to gender, age group, income of the head of the household and regions of the country. The margin of error is 2.24 percentage points, with a confidence level of 95.55%. The interviews were carried out between March 20th and 25th, 2026.
