The rapporteur’s proposal even gives more powers to the CPIs and includes an article that now allows collegiate bodies to negotiate plea bargain agreements with those being investigated.
Gaspar presented proposals for changes to eight laws on the social security issue. For example, any advantage obtained from undue discounts on benefits.
Thus, the accused would be subject to punishments already provided for by law, such as loss of public service and even suspension of political rights for 14 years.
