The suffering Koleník behind the scenes of Let’s Dance: He revealed an unexpected secret! Petra Vlhová intervened

In the eleventh series of the popular dance show Let’s Dance, actor Ján Koleník stars again on the dance floor after four years. Sexsymbol brought such a level to this show that his detractors joked before the series began that he should have his own category. Despite the fact that the forty-six-year-old actor keeps himself in shape, he is also sometimes troubled by health problems. As the diary writes, Slovak skier Petra Vlhová gave him a helping hand.

While the audience sees elaborate performances by Slovak stars every Sunday, many of them don’t realize how much hard work goes into it. Koleník spends long hours in the rehearsal room with his dance partner Dominika Rošková.

“This show is a really big commitment. I’m not going to lie, it’s a months-long work commitment. When a person approaches it with passion and responsibility, we spend a lot of hours in that hall – daily and in two phases, maybe for three hours,” the actor revealed behind the scenes of the Let’s Dance show.

As the live broadcast approaches, the pace of rehearsals picks up. “When the deadline is breathing down our backs, we have to work even harder. Today (March 22, editor’s note) we had a training session, but before that we trained. We train a lot, but probably also because we enjoy it and want to push things even further, into the details,” he revealed the secret of his famous performances.

Although Koleník may seem like a person who manages everything without problems, he admitted that he is troubled by health problems. Slovak skier Petra Vlhová unexpectedly helped him.I have a curiosity – I have a knee bandage from Peti Vlhová,” he surprised with his words.

It is Vlhová who knows very well what it is like to perform physically demanding performances. She herself went through a difficult knee injury two years ago. All of Jasná fell silent on January 20, 2024, when our professional downhill skier fell during a race.

Petra was carried by paramedics in a rescue sled and was immediately taken by helicopter to the hospital, where they discovered that she had injured ligaments in her knee. Everyone thought it would be the end of her career, but the opposite was true. Together with her team, she decided on a consultative examination in Switzerland with the team of Dr. Olivier Siegrist from the Hospital du Valais, where she also underwent the operation itself.

Physiotherapy was necessary even before the operation to make the operation as successful as possible, but exercise is very important especially after the operation. She spent two years recovering from the fall and again stood on the starting line of the Winter Olympics in Italy. She took 20th place in the slalom in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
