War in Iran completes a month and spreads across the Middle East

The war in the Middle East completed one month this Saturday (28), with thousands of deaths. The United States and Israel carried out joint strikes on February 28 in Iran, triggering offensives Iranian against Israel, American bases and the Gulf States. Furthermore, a battlefront was opened in Lebanon.

In Lebanon, authorities say 1,142 people have been killed in Israeli strikes since March 2, including at least 122 children.

In Israel, missiles launched from Iran and Lebanon killed 19 people, according to the Israeli ambulance service. The Israeli military said four of its soldiers were also killed in southern Lebanon.

At least 13 were killed. Six had their deaths confirmed after the crash of a refueling aircraft US military over Iraq, the US Army said, while seven others died in combat during operations against Iran.

The conflict has hit the global economy hard, with gas and fertilizer shortages fueling inflation fears.
