Witten – A thirteen-year-old was stabbed to death in a violent act in Witten in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The mother and his nine-year-old sister were seriously injured, a police spokesman said in response to a dpa inquiry. The children’s suspected father was arrested. He was not previously known to have any psychological problems.
