The South region stood out in the 2026 edition of – Best Project of the Year, with several projects among those distinguished at national level.
The presence of projects from the South among the award winners reinforces the region’s dynamism in the real estate sector.
Among the winners, the Natura Village development won the award in the South Housing category.
The Hotel Palácio Tavira was distinguished in the Rehabilitation category, highlighting the growing appreciation for the recovery of built heritage.
Valorization of territory and heritage
The distinctions awarded highlight the importance of urban rehabilitation in the attractiveness of historic centers and tourist development.
The recognition of these projects also reflects the region’s ability to respond to the demands of the contemporary real estate market.
Competition brought together dozens of applications
The awards, known as the “Oscars” of real estate in Portugal and organized by Magazine Imobiliário magazine, had 92 applications this year.
This number highlights the high level of competitiveness and quality of the projects presented.
The awards ceremony took place at the Vila Galé Sintra Hotel, bringing together several real estate agents.
The event highlighted innovation, technical quality and the ability to adapt to current market challenges.
