Former governor of São Paulo criticized former president Jair Bolsonaro’s management of the covid-19 pandemic
The former federal deputy (PL-SP) used social media to Monday (March 30, 2026) to criticize a speech by the former governor of São Paulo about the management of (PL) in the covid-19 pandemic. In one on X, Eduardo called Doria “will be” and said that he paved the way for the PT.
“We even wanted to privatize the Correios, but shit like Doria gave us work during the pandemic and, therefore, we didn’t have time to do it”declared Eduardo. “But as such a scoundrel he is, Doria blames Bolsonaro – who took Correios out of the red and made it profitable – for the robbery of the PT that he, Doria, paved the way to return to the scene of the crime”these.
During an event by Lide (Group of Business Leaders) in São Paulo, on Monday (30th March), Doria that Jair Bolsonaro would have been re-elected if he had supported vaccination. The national president of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto, who was next to Doria, nodded positively and said, off the microphone: “And truth”.
In the 2022 election, Bolsonaro lost in the 2nd round to (PT) by 50.90% to 49.10%.
At the time, Doria defended social isolation and led the vaccination strategy in São Paulo, with the production and application of CoronaVac in partnership with the Butantan Institute, the 1st vaccine against covid-19 applied in the country. Bolsonaro the immunizer and, subsequently, on mandatory vaccination. Doria was seen as of the clash.
“President Bolsonaro would have been re-elected if he had supported the vaccine and supported correct conduct in public health in Brazil. It was a mistake. But we are not here to judge the past. We are here to look at the future and, above all, a better future for Brazil. No hard feelings”declared Doria.
The federal deputy (PL-SC) also criticized the former governor’s statement. In one on X, she stated that “Doria is the most resentful guy in the universe”.
The congresswoman wrote: “Bolsonaro was the most courageous leader in the world during the pandemic – if it weren’t for him, Brazil would be broke. ‘Close everything and the economy hits you, see later, right, Doria!?’. To talk about humility, these people have to first recognize that they were always wrong about the panicdemic”.
