A spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry denied that the country had called for a ceasefire, according to the country’s state TV.
This comes after Donald Trump, President of the United States, said on social media that the Iranian leadership had requested a pause in the conflict.
The spokesperson called Trump’s comment “false” and “unfounded.”
