Before leaving the government – in an act that took place this Thursday (2) – Governor Gladson CamelĂ promoted a broad reorganization of the State’s administrative structure. Published in the Official State Gazette () this Thursday (2), the changes include dozens of dismissals – many upon request – and appointments in key management positions.
The movement affects secretariats, local authorities and foundations and occurs at a time when Executive command will be passed on to vice-governor Mailza Assis, indicating a political and administrative adjustment for the new phase of the government. The assumption is that those who left their respective positions are on a political campaign and, therefore, cannot continue to lead management.
