The Government published this Thursday (2) a notice of concession for six urban parks in the capital. The auction is scheduled for July 7th, on B3.
The initiative is part of the Investment Partnership Program of the State of São Paulo. The parks, currently managed by the Secretariat of Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics, are Juventude Dom Paulo Evaristo Arns, State of Belém Manoel Pitta, Vila Jacuí, Maria Cristina Hellmeister de Abreu and Itaim Biacica. In 2025, these spaces received around 7 million visitors.
The main interventions required in the notice are the requalification of existing structures, expansion of leisure areas, implementation of new sports equipment and provision of services aimed at the well-being of users.
The concession contract has a duration of 30 years and investments are estimated at R$150.4 million in the period, with R$64.1 million in the first four years. The promise is that the parks will remain open to the public, without entry fees.
To build the model, two public hearings and an online consultation were held in the second half of last year.
The measure is part of the management nationalization program, one of the hallmarks of his government.
