The reason for the change was not informed by the DF PM, responsible for monitoring the former president’s house, where he is serving his sentence for being convicted of the coup plot.
A Military Police of the Federal District reported on Wednesday (1st) to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) an occurrence of changing the electronic ankle bracelet charger monitoring of the former president Jair Bolsonaro.
The former president fulfills 90 days house arrest and must remain with the equipment charged 24 hours a day.
The reason for changing the charger was not informed by the PM, who is responsible for monitoring Bolsonaro’s house.
According to information sent to the Supreme Court, the charger was changed in the early hours of Sunday (29), from 00:34 to 01:03.
Criminal police officer Rita de Cassia Gaio was responsible for changing the component. The server became known last year for having entered Bolsonaro’s residence after the former president tried to violate her ankle bracelet with a soldering iron.
Based on the information provided by the PM, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of the case, may request further clarification on the reasons that led to the charger being changed.
Bolsonaro is serving a permanent sentence of 27 years and three months in prison for the conviction in the criminal action of the coup plot.
