Kinshasa – According to the military, 43 people were killed in an armed attack in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The military accused the Islamist group ADF, linked to the IS terrorist militia, of attacking civilians in the Mambasa area of Ituri province. A spokesman for the Mambasa area told the German Press Agency that attackers with machetes and knives killed people and set houses and vehicles on fire.
