The former federal deputy joined the Mobiliza do Amazonas party this Friday (3) and announced that he was a pre-candidate for president. He admits, however, to changing his mind and running for government or for a state senator position. The party is the former PMN (National Mobilization Party).
Daciolo ran for President in 2018 for . He finished in sixth place, ahead of former ministers Marina Silva (Rede) and Henrique Meirelles (MDB) and former senator Alvaro Dias (Podemos).
That year, Daciolo drew attention in the presidential debates for his catchphrase “Glória be Deus”, with a Rio accent, and for a question to his then opponent (Union of Socialist Republics of Latin America).
In the 2022 elections, and announced support for Ciro in the presidential elections. Daciolo began his political career with PSOL, for which he was elected federal deputy for Rio de Janeiro in 2014. He then worked for PTdoB (currently Avante), Patriota (currently PRD), Podemos, PL, PMB (currently Democrat) and PDT.
