The scenario of the digital dispute for the Presidency of the Republic in 2026 closed the month of March with a consolidated leadership. The senator ended the period at the top of the Datrix Presidential Candidates Index (IDP), a ranking that monitors the performance and repercussion of possible candidates in the social media and internet environment.

According to data obtained by CNN Brasil, the parliamentarian has maintained the lead since the end of 2025. Flávio leads with 32.56 pointsbeing widely favored by the so-called “open sea” metric that counts quotes made by journalists, influencers and users in general, outside their official profiles.

The current president, Luiz Inácio da Silva (PT)appears in second place with 23.56 points. Lula’s performance is mainly supported by strong engagement on his own official channels, which balances a less expressive assessment in the external digital environment.

The big surprise of the month was the debut of Renan Santosfounder of the Missão party, which occupies third place with 21.64 points. Renan’s growth was classified by the CEO of Datrix, João Paulo Castro, as an “impressive leap forward”, comparing his performance to that of major digital influencers.

The ranking also includes other names seeking space in the national competition:

  • Ronaldo Caiado (PSD): 13.94 points (pre-candidacy confirmed at the end of March).

  • Romeu Zema (New): 13.49 points.

  • Aldo Rebelo (DC): 11.22 points.
