France has asked the European Commission to investigate Europe’s refinery sector to ensure there is no market abuse by companies amid rising oil prices, French Finance Minister Roland Lescure said on Friday.
‘I wrote to the European Commission. I sent them a letter today, asking them to conduct an investigation into European refineriesto ensure there is no market abuse,’Lescuretold France 5 television.
