The Žilina Regional Police draws attention to the complicated traffic situation on the D1 highway near Martin. The reason is a midday traffic accident involving three vehicles, for which queues are still forming.
For several tens of minutes, the highway in the direction from Žilina was passable in only one lane. “Currently, the highway is passable in both lanes, but despite this, queues are still forming in the given section. We ask drivers to be patient and be more considerate on the roads,” the police said.
