This Tuesday (31), a former advisor to the (Superior Court of Justice) who was suspected of selling court decisions was arrested preventively (without a specific time period).

Toledo was in the last report of Operation Sisamnes, under suspicion of crimes such as corruption and violation of functional secrecy. After a custody hearing, in which the arrest order was maintained, the former advisor was taken to the Papuda Penitentiary Complex.

Early in the morning, police officers had carried out a search and seizure ordered by the minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) due to suspicion of obstruction of justice. When contacted, Toledo’s lawyer said he had not yet had access to the records and would not comment.

The PF told the minister that Toledo was chasing and filming delegates responsible for the operation and even asked for his temporary arrest, but Zanin saw no need.

After the search and seizure, however, they analyzed the data from the former advisor’s cell phone and understood the need for preventive detention, determined by the minister.

The former civil servant worked in several court offices. He was fired in September after becoming the target of an internal investigation by the STJ opened after the revelation of relationships between court employees and .

The dismissal, under the justification that he committed violations of the legal regime of public servants, was published in a decree signed by the president of the STJ, and says that he used the position “to gain personal benefit or that of others, to the detriment of the dignity of the public service” and revealed “a secret that he appropriated due to his position”.

Toledo is suspected of irregularities in the offices of ministers Nancy Andrighi and Isabel Gallotti — they are not investigated.

He is being investigated for movements carried out in processes “with alteration and deletion of internal minutes in a few minutes, making it impossible for other people to view”, according to Zanin’s decision.
