O Iran and the USA received on Sunday a proposal preliminary that provides for a 45-day ceasefire and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz two senior officials from Middle Eastern countries told .
The sources were not identified.
The first news about the same proposal was reported by the North American news portal.
According to the Associated Press, the proposal came from mediators Egyptians, Pakistanis e turcos involved in the process that aims to stop the fighting, said the two responsible.
The two sources said that the 45 days may be sufficient so that negotiations can reach a permanent ceasefire.
Iran and the United States have not yet responded to the proposal, communicated on Sunday night to the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, and the US envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, said the same officials.
