The Public Ministry of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT) filed, this Monday (06), a direct action of unconstitutionality in the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT) against the law that authorizes the DF government to use public properties to reinforce the cash flow of Banco de Brasília (BRB).
According to the agency, the standard does not comply with the requirements of the DF Organic Law and may put public assets at riskurban planning, in addition to environmental areas.
O MP also assesses that there is no direct relationship between properties and BRB activitywhich may indicate inappropriate use of public assets, in addition to the fact that no studies were presented on the heritage impacts for the entities involved.
The MP asks the Court of Justice to immediately suspend the sections of the law that deal with the transfer of properties, with general effects until the final judgment of the action.
