Czech actor Leoš Noha (57), who was diagnosed with extremely serious heart problems a few years agocontinues to be active in front of the cameras. According to him, experts consider it a small miracle not only that he is still among the living, but also the fact that he can continue to devote himself to acting, writes the website.
Noho, who played the local veterinarian and at the same time the medic of the soccer team Adolf Větvička in the popular TV series Okresní přebor, in the past realistically a heart transplant was threatened, no his condition has partially stabilized. As he himself openly admitted, his heart output rose from a critical 12% to the current 44%.
What is surprising, however, is that he did almost nothing for this rapid improvement. He did not resort to a healthier diet or regular exercise and added with a smile that he will not give up his favorite tummy on his old knees. “A tree can be bent as long as it’s young,” the actor joked. He only slightly adjusted his drinking regime. “I stopped drinking the Champions League and started drinking only the county league,” he added. But he can still drink several beers in one evening.
At the time when his life was at stake, he even considered marrying his long-term partner, but it was mainly for purely pragmatic reasons. He wanted to marry his girlfriend in order to provide for her financially and in the event of his death, she would be entitled to a widow’s pension. He eventually gave up on this idea when he found out that she would only support him for one year. If it was a life annuity, according to his words, he would definitely enter into marriage.
