President Donald Trump will answer questions from reporters this Monday (6), at 1 pm Washington time (2 pm in Brasília), in the White House press room.
The president will appear alongside military authorities to talk about the incident of an American aviator who was aboard the F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran.
Earlier today, Trump had announced that he would hold the press conference in the Oval Office, which would mean the presence of only a smaller group of credentialed White House reporters.
“Due to overwhelming press demand, President Trump’s press conference tomorrow will now take place in the White House Press Office at 1 p.m.,” said White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt.
Trump has appeared in the press room before, most recently holding one , after the United States Supreme Court struck down his emergency tariffs.
