Gerlos – A 69-year-old German had a fatal accident on Tuesday afternoon while skiing in the Tyrolean “Zillertal Arena” in the municipality of Gerlos (Schwaz district). The winter sports athlete and a 33-year-old German collided head-on at a high speed near a piste intersection, the police reported. The 69-year-old suffered serious internal injuries and died at the scene of the accident. The 33-year-old was seriously injured.
