Ceasefire in Lebanon is part of the conditions of the 10-point plan, says Iran

Iranian Armed Forces have begun identifying targets for a possible response

O President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkianstated this Wednesday (8) that the ceasefire in Lebanon is part of the fundamental conditions presented by your country in a 10-point plan for negotiations with the United States, reported the ISNA agency.

In a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, Pezeshkian insisted “the need for a ceasefire in Lebanon” and recalled that this requirement is one of the essential conditions of Iran’s ten-point plan, which was accepted by Donald Trump as a “viable” proposal to negotiate with Tehranin addition to the two-week cessation of hostilities agreed on Tuesday.

Attack on Lebanon

After the attacks in Lebanon, a government source told the Tasnim agency that Iran considers withdrawing from the temporary agreement. The source stated that the suspension of attacks on all frontsincluding actions against Lebanon, was part of the plan mediated and accepted by the United States. Iran treated Wednesday’s military actions as a treaty violation.

As a result of the actions in Lebanon, the Iranian Armed Forces began identifying targets for possible response. The government source informed Tasnim that the country will use of force if the United States does not contain Israel’s actions in the Middle East.

“If the US is unable to control its rabid dog in the region, Iran, exceptionally, will help them in this matter! And this will be done by force,” the source said.

Israel does not include Lebanon

After this WednesdayIsrael declared that the country is not included in the , Hezbollah sponsor. According to the National Information Agency (ANI, official), there were several attacks against cities in the south of the country.

One of these attacks hit a building in the Tire region, according to an AFP correspondent, shortly after a new evacuation order from the Israeli army specifically referred to that area.

Army Arabic spokesman Colonel Avichay Adraee also ordered residents of a vast area between the Israeli border and the Zahrani River, about 40 km further north, to leave their homes, saying “the battle continues.” Israeli forces currently occupy part of southern Lebanon.
