The PT published a rap on Tuesday (7.Apr.2026) to remember the 8 years of the president (PT). The lyrics contain phrases like “they thought I was defeated, whoever thought that was wrong” e “I’m back, I’m here”.
Lula was arrested on April 7, 2018 after conviction in the second instance in the Guarujá triplex case. on November 8, 2019, after the STF issued a sentence before final judgment.
In 2021, the Supreme Court considered the 13th Federal Court of Curitiba incompetent to judge the cases and declared the partiality of former judge Sergio Moro. The decision reestablished Lula’s political rights, allowing his candidacy in 2022.
“Contrary to what you wanted, I’m steady, I’m on the run”says the rap published by PT on social media. “I’m a warrior and I don’t pay to waver. I’m a bad vessel to break”he declares.
The video features images of Lula and, at the beginning, the president states: “The powerful can kill one, two or 3 roses, but they will never be able to stop the arrival of spring”.
