When discussing Tereza Cristina’s name, Flávio was complimentary, but cautious.

The senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republicstated this Thursday (9) that the Senator Tereza Cristina (PP-MS) is “everyone’s dream” to be on your ticket as vice presidentbut retreated from any formal commitment, saying that the definition will remain for “much more in the future”.

The statement was made at the opening of the 86th Expogrande, in Campo Grande, where Flávio spoke wearing a shirt printed with the phrase “agro is top” alongside governor Eduardo Riedel (PP) and former governor Reinaldo Azambuja, state president of the PL. The senator said he wanted to “reaffirm commitment to agriculture to once again become a true national pride and occupy more space on the international scene”.

When dealing with the name of Tereza Cristina, Flávio was complimentary, but cautious. He said he affectionately called her “little voice” because it reminds him of his own grandmotherand classified it as “one of the biggest references in the world of agriculture that Brazil has”. “I’m very happy that we can have her among the possibilities,” he said.

The scenario, however, is far from resolved. Flávio Bolsonaro’s advisors say, in a reserved manner, that the combination with Tereza Cristina is unlikely, while the senator’s allies are already discussing other alternatives. On the senator’s side, the stance has been one of deliberate distance.

“Wow, ma’am, this issue won’t go away from me. I was never invited. If I go, we’ll think about it later. This invitation never arrived”, said the parliamentarian.
