Tourism in Pará grows 30% and moves R$ 1.1 billion with COP30 – 04/10/2026 – Panel

The amount of grew by 30% in 2025, driven by , compared to 2024.

Data from the State Department of Tourism (Setur) indicate that, last year, Pará received 1.6 million tourists, 350 thousand foreigners, and generated a turnover of R$1.14 billion. In 2024, the state had welcomed 65 thousand tourists from abroad.

The management says that the numbers point to the growth of activity in Pará, with appreciation of its culture and Amazonian gastronomy.

“This movement was accompanied by investment in professional qualifications, with 46 thousand people trained through the Capacita COP30 program, preparing the state to increasingly welcome visitors and generate employment and income opportunities”, stated the governor.
