In Floridsdorf on Friday afternoon, a man attacked a young woman at a bus stop with a syringe, triggering a police operation. According to the police, the 38-year-old Austrian citizen is said to have stabbed a 20-year-old woman he did not know in the upper arm on Leopoldauer Strasse. He then threatened the woman that the syringe contained poison and asked her to follow him – otherwise she would die. Shortly afterwards the man disappeared from the scene.
