“Ukraine will observe the ceasefire and respond strictly in the same way. The absence of Russian strikes from the air, from the ground and from the sea will mean that there will be no response from our side,” Zelenskyy previously wrote in a post on the X network.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine over the Orthodox Easter on Thursday night, more than a week after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi first proposed the idea. Both parties have pledged to abide by it.
