Carlos Logrado, former councilor of Marinha Grande, aged 63, was stabbed to death in an apartment he had rented. Then the killer threw himself from the seventh floor and also died.
A disagreement between a tenant and a landlord ended in two deaths in Marinha Grande.

According to , the two protagonists of the story had not come to an understanding, before, to sign a new lease contract, in which the landlord intended to increase the rent.
As such, as the morning report details, on Thursday afternoon, at 6pm, the lessor went to the apartment to retrieve the house keys.
A few hours later, the house owner’s companion found the delay strange and tried to contact him without success. Carlos Logrado was deadinside the apartment, as authorities discovered nine hours after the murder.
As the CM reports, the firefighters broke down the door and, accompanied by the police, entered the house, finding the victim lifeless. In parallel, neighbors reported, it was heard a bang: the killer had jumped from the seventh floor and died on the spot.
The homicide victim is Carlos Logradoformer councilor of the Marinha Grande City Council, aged 63. The 61-year-old attacker, in turn, was an employee of a mold factory in the region.
In the same newspaper, neighbors report that they had already heard conversations between the two, in which the tenant disagreed with the rent increase. However, the neighborhood did not recall any conflict that this had caused.
The announced that it will declare a municipal day of mourning.
