The police are warning! Closure of D1 and traffic restrictions in Bratislava for the running event and football match

Drivers in Bratislava must expect several traffic restrictions during the weekend. Both the running event and the football match will affect traffic. The D1 highway from the intersection Bernolákovo (Triblavina) to Zlaté Piesky in the direction of the capital is still closed until Sunday (April 12).

They will pay for the running event on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. restrictions around the shopping center on Pribinová street. “Pribinova Street will be closed, as well as the entrance to the Centrum underground garage,” the Bratislava Regional Police clarified.

On Sunday, the restrictions will affect Staré Mesto, Ružinov and Petržalka from 8:50 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Police officers will continuously regulate traffic on individual streets depending on the movement of runners. On Sunday, for the running event, changes in public transport must also be taken into account.

Traffic restrictions will also be brought about by the soccer match, which will take place on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. at the National Soccer Stadium. “We warn drivers about the possible emergence of restrictions in road traffic, especially in the vicinity of the stadium before the start of the football match and after its end on Bajkalská, Viktora Tegelhoffa, Príkopov and Kalinčiakova streets,” added the police.

The closure of the D1 near Bratislava from the intersection Bernolákovo (Triblavina) to Zlaté Piesky is also still valid. The restriction in the direction of the capital will last until Sunday evening. In the opposite direction, from Bratislava, traffic is unchanged.
