Lula’s rejection reaches 48% and Flávio’s, 46%, says Datafolha

A Datafolha survey released this Saturday (April 11, 2026) shows that the rejection of the main names in the presidential race continues to be concentrated in the best-known candidates. The president (PT) leads in this indicator, with 48% of voters saying they would not vote for him under any circumstances. Right behind appears the senator (PL-RJ), com 46%.

The data reflects a scenario of high polarization and strong image consolidation. Lula is known by practically the entire electorate (99%), while Flávio, son of the former president (PL), also has a high degree of recognition (93%), which tends to naturally increase rejection rates.

Lula's rejection reaches 48% and Flávio's, 46%, says Datafolha

Among the names on the right that appear as alternatives, former governors (Novo-MG) and (PSDB-GO) have much lower rejections: 17% and 16%, respectively.

On the other hand, both are still little known: 56% of voters say they do not know Zema, and 54% say the same about Caiado.

Here are the rejection numbers:

  • Lula (PT): 48%
  • Flávio Bolsonaro (PL): 46%
  • Corporal Daciolo (Mobiliza): 19%
  • Romeu Zema (New): 17%
  • Renan Santos (Mission): 17%
  • Ronaldo Caiado (PSD): 16%
  • Aldo Rebelo (DC): 16%
  • Reject all: 2%
  • Don’t know: 2%
  • I would vote for anyone: 1%

2ND ROUND SCENARIO

In the survey released this Saturday (April 11), a numerical advantage was recorded for Flávio against Lula. The senator and PL pre-candidate for the Presidency has 46% of voting intentions against 45% of the current president in a possible 2nd round dispute for Planalto.

When the survey considers Caiado or Zema as Lula’s rivals in the 2nd round, the PT member marks 45% to 42%. As the margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points, all of these scenarios constitute ties.

Regarding voting intentions in the 2nd round, here is how the interviewees responded in the 3 scenarios:

The Datafolha survey interviewed 2,004 voters in 137 cities from Tuesday (April 7) to Thursday (April 9). It is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) with code BR-03770/2026. It cost R$307,641.60 and was paid for with own resources.
