Straka with a failed final day at the Masters

Augusta (Georgia) – For Austria’s top golfer Sepp Straka, the Masters in Augusta/Georgia did not end as desired. The 32-year-old Viennese recorded a final round of 76 on Sunday and fell back to around 40th place. With a total of 290 strokes (2 over par), the two-time Ryder Cup champion remained just above the course standard (288) in his fifth appearance at the Augusta National GC. The decision to win the Masters was still ongoing late on Sunday evening (CEST).
