The pre-candidate for the Presidency, (Novo), stated, this Monday (April 13, 2026), that the ministers of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) “they deserve prison”. The statement was given to journalists after the , in the capital of São Paulo.
“These 2, for me, not only deserve impeachment proceedings, they deserve imprisonment”these.
Zema stated that the country is experiencing a “moral crisis” and once again criticized what he called “untouchables spree” in Brasilia. According to him, there are authorities who consider themselves above the law. “We need to get these rotten parts out. If we don’t do this, everything else will be in vain”these.
The pre-candidate defended changes in the Judiciary and stated that he intends to face the issue if he is elected. He also said that he has adopted a more critical stance by not depending on politics. “I can say what I want”he stated.
During the interview with journalists, Zema also criticized the federal government’s economic policy and associated the current scenario with high interest rates. “Spending makes the interest rate one of the highest in the world”he said. According to him, this harms families and companies.
Zema also stated that he intends to maintain his pre-campaign until the end and that he seeks to present a political alternative. “I will take my campaign to the end”, declared.
