Wave of strikes at Lufthansa: cabin crew are on strike from Wednesday

Frankfurt – At Lufthansa, flight attendants want to stop work for two days starting Wednesday following the pilots’ two-day strike. The strike will begin on Wednesday at 12:01 a.m. and end shortly before midnight on Thursday, the Independent Flight Attendants Organization (UFO) announced on Monday. All departures of the Lufthansa core brand from Frankfurt and Munich are to be on strike. The cabin crew only stopped work for a day on Friday in a dispute over better working conditions. On Monday and Tuesday the pilots refused to work in the tariff dispute with Lufthansa.
