Sieghartskirchen – A man is said to have killed his wife and himself on Thursday in Sieghartskirchen (Tulln district). The couple was found lifeless in the morning, police spokesman Stefan Loidl confirmed online reports in response to an APA request. According to him, both people were over 80 years old and in need of care. The man is believed to have fired with a legally owned handgun. Investigations by the Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office were ongoing.
