Promoted by , with support from , the competition accepts productions published between January 1st and December 31st, 2025. In this edition, the award has four categories: written, audiovisual, digital and sound journalism.
Works from Latin America and published in media or digital platforms may compete. Each participant can submit up to two works, one individual and one collective.
The award ceremony is scheduled for October 2026, in Costa Rica, during Roche Press Day.
