The External Commission created to discuss the betting market sent a letter to , this Thursday (16), to ask the company to make regular betting applications available in online stores.
The charge is made almost a year after releasing it. The deputies’ assessment is that apps can help combat the illegal market, in addition to reducing the number of frauds.

“Unauthorized environments operate outside of state supervision, without integrity controls, user identification or transaction monitoring, making them particularly vulnerable to illicit activities by criminal organizations,” the document states.
The letter was sent to Apple’s head of government affairs for Latin America, Mario de La Cruz Sarabia. On another front, the Chamber’s Communications Committee wants to hold a public hearing on the topic next week.
